Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct light. For long-term storage, a freezer at -20°C is recommended. Once reconstituted with Bac Water, store in a refrigerator at 2–8°C and use within 28–30 days.
Bacteriostatic Water (Bac Water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which inhibits bacterial growth. It is used to reconstitute lyophilized peptide compounds for in vitro research use. It is not sterile water and should not be confused with saline.
